The Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum will operate a vintage train directly from Chattanooga to Wilder Tower in Chickamauga-Chattanooga National Military Park for the Memorial Day Weekend Pops In The Park Concert. Riding the train will eliminate potential parking and traffic problems in the Park. Upon arrival at Wilder Tower, all passengers will be provided easy access to the concert area and are encouraged to bring along a picnic lunch.
The special train will depart from TVRM's Grand Junction Station and arrive at Wilder Tower well in advance of the concert. Expected return arrival at Grand Junction will be around 2 hours after the end of the concert and fireworks. Ample lighted parking is provided at Grand Junction Station.
Food service not included; a commissary car will be provided or bring your own picnic. Trip runs unless the concert is cancelled before 4:30 PM. If cancelled after departure, train will run to Rock Spring, Ga. and return, but will not operate on rain date.
