As the festive season approaches, there’s a heightened sense of joy, anticipation, and unfortunately, a few lurking Grinches in the form of scammers. At Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum, we value the trust and safety of our customers above all else. With the spirit of transparency and care, we wanted to address a concerning matter that has come to our attention recently.

Scam Alert: Fake Christmas Dinner Train Tickets

We have been alerted to the presence of scamming accounts attempting to sell counterfeit Christmas Dinner Train tickets. With the excitement and rush to secure seats on our special train, it’s easy to overlook certain details. Therefore, we urge you to exercise utmost caution when purchasing tickets.

Spotting a Fake Seller:

1. ‘Event By’ Name Check: A significant red flag to watch out for is the ‘event by’ name when purchasing tickets. Our official events will not feature an individual’s name. If you come across any such account using a personal name while posing as our official seller, it’s most likely a scam.
2. Cross-Check with Us: In situations where you’re unsure about the authenticity of a ticket seller, we highly recommend getting in touch with us. You can verify ticket purchases or sellers by:

Please note that all authentic tickets for the Christmas Dinner Train are exclusively sold through the Fareharbor ticket system. Any ticket not processed through this system raises suspicion.
