Journey to the Heart of Civil War History
The Chickamauga Turn promises a relaxing 6-hour ride, transporting you to the historic Civil War town of Chickamauga, Georgia. As the wheels turn and the landscape shifts, you’ll be traveling via the former Central of Georgia Railroad, a route steeped in history.

A Glimpse of Chickamauga
Upon arrival, you’ll have a 90-minute layover in downtown Chickamauga. This is the perfect opportunity to explore and immerse yourself in the town’s rich history. Consider a visit to the serene Crawfish Springs Park or the majestic Gordon-Lee Mansion. And if you’re in the mood for some shopping or a bite to eat, the town boasts a variety of shops and dining locations.

For those interested in diving deeper into the town’s history, tours of the Gordon-Lee Mansion are available. Please note that there is an admission fee, which will be collected at the entrance.
